Today I went to a brilliant exhibition of tapestries at a large gallery in Edinburgh. The city arts centre is a great building with good space and light. All of the artists are practicing makers and don’t outsource their manufacturing at all, making all of the exquisite textile pieces themselves. I was really impressed by the diversity of the techniques and textures in the exhibition and would recommend it.
