I was shortlisted for the Homes and Gardens Designer Awards – in the ‘Young Designer’ category. I was shortlisted along with Kirath Ghundoo, a textile and print designer from Leeds, and Naomi Paul, who won the award, who is also a textile designer based in East London. Both of the other nominees’ work is fantastic, and it was really great to meet them at the prestigious awards ceremony at the British Museum in London. The evening was superbly organised, and was a great opportunity to get to know people from across the industry and drink lots of free champagne!
