The Writers Collection for Legacy
Sebastian was invited by Sir John Sorrell, Chairman of the London Design Festival, to collaborate with Amanda Nevill and create a writing compendium as a ‘Legacy’ piece for the British Film Institute (BFI). The Writers Collection comprises a desk, chair and pencil case, designed to sit on the mezzanine at the BFI, overlooking the box office, as if from the wings of a stage. The desk and chair take their form from a triangle perspective, allowing screenwriters using the piece to either observe the scene or shut themselves away.
