>Today we bought and collected some decent machinery for our new workshop! The local college is sadly limiting its woodworking equipment, and we agreed to buy the machines they were removing. It is sad because so many future young students won’t have the opportunity to use those machines; and potentially a whole generation of creative students might pass through that institution without ever experiencing making at a realistic level. Sad as this may be, we’re more than happy to be buying up that machinery as it is in very good condition and let’s face it, someone’s got to take what the college don’t want!
We acquired a planer thicknesser and a radial arm saw, and Liam and I are both really excited about using them to make our products with. Let’s hope they are tools for life.
