I recently delivered some work to Hebden Bridge in lovely West Yorkshire. Snug is a great gallery in the town that stocks a fantastic selection of designers and makers, and I think my pieces will sell nicely in there. There is a ceramicist called Jill Shaddock whose work I really rate, and it was great to see it in Snug too.

After making the delivery my girlfriend and I went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which was only down the road, and spent the afternoon exploring the vast 500-acre park. I’m a massive fan of David Nash and Andy Goldsworthy, so it was really great to see some of that work up close and in the context of a large outdoor space. We also really enjoyed the highland cattle too, which were roaming around the park, and on occasion looked alarmingly friendly/curios!

If you’re ever looking for a great day out in Yorkshire, head over the Hebden Bridge to Snug, and then go to the YSP. Oh and there’s the  Hepworth at Wakefield too, but we didn’t have time to review that one!
